Using high performance open systems technology Display Manager brings a new level of functionality and reliability to LED moving imagery installations. Enabling the control of heterogeneous pixel types and integrating them into a single visual field, Display Manager also allows on-site as well as completely remote management of live feeds and computer graphics or moving imagery played from storage, and the monitoring even of temporary installations from anywhere in the world.
Scalable
Display Manager supports multiple different display interfaces for compatibility with screen based systems such as LED panels and plasma, as well as arrays of LED and incandescent pixels. DVI and VGA outputs are supported using plug-in cards, while ElementLabs VERSA Tube and Tile technologies use a RS-422 output module, and high performance RS-485 outputs as well as standard DMX out are also available.
A single Display Manager can drive largescale LED panels from a variety of vendors over 2000 pixels wide, or control more than 100,000 individual pixels. Multiple Display managers can be networked using standard Gb ethernet, with optional fibre optic cables for very long distances - distributing high quality 60fps fully synchronised imagery to millions of pixels.
Smaller installations can be configured using the minimum of components simply by connecting a laptop directly with the Display Manager, moving content to its website and creating a basic playlist.
